Who We Are

Jamie Clark is the creative force behind Clark Digital Arts. Jamie says:

"The seeds for Clark Digital Arts were planted in late 2002, when my husband and I set out to add to our family through open adoption using the Independent Adoption Center. Because of my background in fine art, and my design and layout experience through my previous jobs, I designed our Dear Birthmother letter and website for our first adoption. We brought our first daughter home just a few months later. I designed some letters for friends who were also adopting, and then we decided to adopt again, so designed letter and website #2 for us. Again, we adopted very quickly, and brought our second daughter home just a few months after becoming approved.

I continued to design letters and websites for friends, and then started to get new clients via word of mouth.
In 2008, I decided to really make a concerted effort to create a business out of my letter and website design efforts. Since then, I have designed adoption letters and websites for almost 100 families and become a "Recommended Designer" for the IAC. It has become my passion to help people grow their families by adoption.

Since my husband and I adopted twice from IAC, I am not only intimately aware of their design guidelines for both letters and websites, but I know first hand what it takes to attract birthmothers, and how to help you market yourself to your best. I also know how it feels through every step of the process...the paperwork, the waiting, the matching, the waiting... I do what I can to keep your project moving forward, because I know what it feels like to wait, and haven't you waited long enough already?

I have about a 25% success rate. Of my clients who have matched and adopted, the average wait time has been about 4-5 months. One of my clients actually brought their baby home 1 month after we finished their project! Nothing makes me happier than to hear that one of my clients has recently brought their baby home, and to know that I had a hand in helping create that family."
